The Maven Performance billet 'FLAT' is similar to the 'tube clamp mount' coil mount system in the way it mounts (4) IGN-1A coils or (4) CDI coils- this version allow you to mount on any 2.5" square flat footprint making it ideal for many coil near plug (1 coil/cylinder) performance applications by mounting to a frame rail or a firewall. The IGN-1A coil and CDI ignition coils are very common in the performance aftermarket and are sold by most popular engine management manufactures under a variety of labels.
